Snowy Priest Draw

Went to the draw a few days this week and got to circuit a bunch of roofs despite there being about a foot of snow and dripping topouts. I sent the BK Broiler and tried to do it again but hacked the ending and missed the pads. here's a video

Blobs Update-Choss Roof

I have been coming agonizingly close sending the Battle Of The Blobs project at Choss roof, falling after the 2nd crux with only 10 ft left to the mantle. The top of the roof dripped melting snow and ruined the ending, causing failure on wet holds. It's been snowing for days and doesn't look like it will stop anytime soon...fukt! On a more positive note, Pat Fitts took advantage of the dry and cold conditions and sent his project Choss Roof, with impeccable timing right before he left for winter break. Nice Work!

Crash pads are on the top of the roof to slow the melting snow.

Mars Roof Quad Crown

Mars Roof at the Priest Draw is a perfect place to climb when the weather gets shitty in Flagstaff. It's almost always dry and hosts an impressive amount of roof problems, making it the perfect training tool for roof power and endurance. I have been climbing at Mars about once a week for the past year and half, and the climbing is never disappointing. We went out a couple days ago and despite the high temperature of 28 degrees, the conditions were perfect. I had to use a lighter to melt the ice off the jug ending on the girl from ipanema, but that was the only wet hold. Here's video of the Quad Crown, sending all four problems back to back with no falls in one day.
