The Final line on Renegade was finished several weeks ago, EPLB Direct!
I also managed to send Antimatter at Priest Draw this past week. It felt good to put down and old nemesis project and was pretty psyched to climb at the draw after spending the last 6 months almost exclusively in the Hinterlands.
Been trying Broken Symmetry in Middle Elden Canyon, luckily this problem is accessible all year round and will just get better with colder weather. Thomas Maxson claimed the 2nd ascent recently, hopefully I can put it together for a shameful 3rd ascent...

Will there be enough time for an ascent of the Amazing Blimp Roof this season?

Cougarland

I went out to Cougarland this week to sample some of the newest and finest limestone roofs that Arizona has to offer, and I was not disappointed. We climbed mostly in the Bobcat's Den and Blimp Roof. Blimp gets direct sunlight all day so majority of the time was spent in the Bobcat's Den to avoid the heat and wasps. Bobcat's Den is an enormous limestone roof littered with good two finger pockets, pinches, edges and jugs, creating a slew of problems established by John Cooper and Patrick Fitts over the past few years.I managed to repeat a few of the lines including the 3rd ascent of Remnants of the Acid and the 2nd ascent of The Elk Graveyard, both are classic and have unique climbing with challenging, tricky sequences. Linking the two climbs together looks amazing and would span the roof in it's entirety, the Elks on Acid Project. Blimp Roof is certainly one of the best I've ever climbed on and will be back to work out the blue limestone headwall of glory Repeat video of Remnants of the Acid and the second problem in the video is The Elk Graveyard.
